=== The "Locked In" Mentality === Within the community, there is often a lack of patience for accountability. When an accusation arises, the reaction is typically immediate conviction rather than investigation. <nowiki>*</nowiki>Β Β '''**Convenience over Truth:**''' A common criticism is that people prefer the simplicity of blaming someone rather than seeking the truth. This is particularly evident in friendships; if a friend sides with the accused or refuses to believe the accuser, they are often viewed as cowardly. The prevailing thought is that the friend is protecting the accused to avoid social backlash from the majority, rather than offering a fair assessment. <nowiki>*</nowiki>Β Β *'''*No Room for Complexity:*'''* There is little room for "how it happened." The community often rejects explanations, preferring to believe that the evidence presented is definitive and undeniable.
