His life can be split in 2 parts with a break when he was outted in the lat on 90's.

- outted by other zoo in late of 90's (p81)
- moved from chicago to Gaston, Oregon, where his and his wife bred Golden retrievers and ran a Golden rescue organization (p75)
- live in Gaston with his wife from xxx to 1998 (p87)
- from 1998 to 2001, he was separated but still with his wife (p87)
- mariages stoped at 2003 when Spink took back his dog Rion a golden retriever. (p87)
