In this episode, Fausty dismisses the 2018 zoosadism leaks and tries to get to the bottom of rumors surrounding Kero. This was before he'd gotten access to the leaks, and no corrections were ever issued. Nelizar (SnakeThing) had been arrested the month previous. At this point, most zoos hadn't heard of the leaks and Akela was trying to work with anyone who heeded his call for support: mainly non-zoo furries and right-wing hunters.
Toggle removed the episode from the Zooier Than Thou season 1 list in early 2024.
