Use this template to request that an article be checked for POV ("Point of View"). The editor who adds the tag should address the issues on the talk page, pointing to specific issues that are actionable within the content policies. If this information is not added to the talk page, then this tag may be removed by any editor.

For POV issues which are disputed, use the {{POV}} template instead. For more information, see Wikipedia:NPOV dispute ("NPOV" is an abbreviation for "Neutral Point of View").

Usage

Place {{POV check|date=November 2024}} at the top of the suspect article.

Use {{POV check|section}} to tag a specific section.

Use the |talk= parameter to specify the talkpage section where you address the issue, like this:

{{POV check|talk=talkpage section name|date=November 2024}}

When to remove

  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.
