Usage
Place {{Off-topic|date=June 2024}}
at the top of sections that seem to stray off the page's topic, then, (if relevant) explain why on the article's talk page.
To specify a section of the talk page, use {{Off-topic|talk page section name}}
- This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia articles that may have off-topic sections.
- This template is a self-reference.
- This template should not be substituted.
Other article
{{Off-topic|Foobar}}
will result in:
This section may stray from the topic of the article into the topic of another article, Foobar. |
