Claudine de Culam (d. 1601), was a sixteen-year-old girl who was tried and hanged for the act of bestiality with a dog in Rognon, France.[1]

The judge investigated the allegations by having de Culam undress and the dog observed by his female assistants as it leapt upon de Culam. De Culam and the dog were strangled, their bodies burnt and scattered to the four winds, "that as little traces as possible might remain to remind mankind of their monstrous deeds."[2]
