This list of templates furnishes editors with a practical tool to quickly find the redirect templates that are used most often. This page organises the templates by function and provides examples of where and where not to use them. Notes about redirect templates

• {{This is a redirect}} can be used to group redirect templates.
• Do not use the same redirect templates on a talk page as you would on a non-talk page. The only redirect templates that apply to talk pages are {{R to talk}}, {{R from shortcut}}, those associated with moves and merges and cross-namespace redirect templates.
