Bodil Joensen

Bodil Joensen (1953-?) was a Danish porn performer. Entered the "industry" at 17. Began with "light fetish" pornography, then switched unto bestiality. Starred in four full-length features and several shootings. She had sex with various species of animals. However, she earned her utmost reputation as the "Boar Girl" thanks to her flicks shot with pigs on her own breeding centre. Movies she appeared in combined a peculiar blend of "tolerant contemporary Danish society" image and Scandinavian rustic nostalgia. Though what she made her famous worldwide was apparently, the unusual nature of the sexual acts she got involved in. After 1972 and on she experienced a sheer downhill. She underwent a very obvious physical and psychological change, starting to work as a "live show" and "sexual role play" girl and ending up in straight street prostitution. After years from her last interview in 1980, her fate is still controversial and uncertain. She is most believed to have commited suicide in the early 80s.
