The Guide to Animal Relationships is a sub-project within the Zoophilia Wiki whose purpose is to provide zoophiles with a reliable, evidence-based, up to date, and well-regarded source of information on how to understand and interact with the species they are attracted to, so as to prevent the mistakes that hurt zoophiles and animals and improve the wellbeing of animals in zoos’ care.

To do this, The Guide to Animal Relationships project currently focuses on producing and maintaining guides and information about dogs and horses in the subject areas of general psychology and behavior; best practices for general human interaction, sexual behaviors, and how to approach sex. For the subject areas that have a plethora of quality research (such as general psychology and behavior and best practices for general human interaction), the information and guides are written using current research and experience by specific individuals and teams of individuals referred to as [general specialists]. [General specialists] have a B.S. in psychology and have at least 5 years experience in working with the species they are writing about.

Since some of these subject areas lack quality research (namely: how to approach sex), experience from teams of compassionate individuals, referred to as [sexual specialists], must be relied on. Individuals known as [sexual specialists] have 10 years experience of being with the animal they are writing about and show a deep care for the well being of their companions and work together in teams where they review what each other has written.

If you are interested in helping with the project, please reach out to us on Zooville forum, or the ZooCommunity. We are currently looking for qualified [general specialists], [sexual specialists], as well as individuals willing to proof-read, edit, and help manage.
