Template:Citation Style documentation/ref
From Zoophilia Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to search
- ref: The citation's HTML anchor identifier. When set,
|ref=ID
generates a custom anchor with the given ID (theid=
attribute in the citation's<cite id="ID">
HTML tag) and identifies the template as a target and allows wikilinking to full references, which is especially useful with short-form citations like shortened notes and parenthetical referencing. The default anchor ID is suitable for use with {{Sfn}} and {{Harvard citation}} templates. To inhibit anchor ID creation altogether, set|ref=none
. The parameter/keyword pair|ref=harv
no longer holds any special meaning; this deprecated setting should not be used and may be removed from existing CS1 & CS2 templates. Aliases: none. (See Template:Citation/doc § Anchors for Harvard referencing templates.)
