Outing aka doxing is the posting of full picture images of an individual's face, name, or PII (Personally Identifiable Information) job, or residential location with the direct intent to harm the individual.
Some individuals who have been doxxed were harassed, suffered property damage, or were even physically harmed by assailants who targeted them do to their online activity. Depending on where the doxxer lives they may face charges.
