To set this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:
|state=collapsed–{{Tools|state=collapsed}}to show the template collapsed, i.e., hidden, save for its title bar.|state=expanded–{{Tools|state=expanded}}to show the template expanded, that is, fully visible.|state=autocollapse–{{Tools|state=autocollapse}}</nowiki>
